Introducing the Open Limited Working Ranch Class!
NVRHA is rolling out the Open Limited Working Ranch Class.  Now if you would like to enter Open and not go down the fence – YOU Can!  The Open Limited Working Ranch Class was created for any rider, (amateur or professional) to exhibit any horse regardless of ownership.  This class is available to any horse that has not been down the fence regardless of if the rider has been down the fence on another horse. This class will be executed the same as the Intermediate and Limited Working Ranch Horse. Any rider that has gone down the fence, that was not an Amateur, for the World’s Greatest is eligible to move back to Open Limited one time.

Attention Riders!        Attention Riders!        Attention Riders!

The new Intermediate Division is a blend of Novice and Limited.  NVRHA created this division to allow Horse/Rider teams to continue their education prior to moving into Limited or Amateur.

This will be a step up from Novice
  • If your average Performance Score falls between 220-250 – You have a ONE TIME option of moving into the New Intermediate Division.  You must declare that you would like to ride in the Intermediate prior to your first ride of 2022 season. If you ride in Limited or Amateur and your points fall in this range, and you ride in Limited or Amateur anytime during the 2022 you will have to stay in that division.
  • Working Ranch - Box Drive Box Drive (Same as Limited)
  • Cutting – Pen the cow (Same as Novice)

How to tell by looking at the Division Assignment Sheet if you are required to move or are eligible to move into the Intermediate
  • If your Division Assignment is in Red with options (I-L-AM) or (L-A) you are required to move into one of those divisions.
  • If your 2021/2020 Performance Score Average is highlighted in Yellow, you have a ONE TIME option to move into Intermediate or you may choose to stay in your current division.
  • If you did not ride in 2020 or 2021 and you think you may qualify for the new Intermediate Division, you will need to contact the office at [email protected] and the office will research your prior Performance Score Average.
  • Please take a moment to look and see if you need to move up or if you qualify to move to the new Intermediate Division
